-Deck of cards
Some ideas have been swimming around my head that I think would make interesting decks of cards. All I'll say for now is that one of the ideas will come as no real surprise since all of my recent deviations have had a similar look. One of the other ideas will be a bit of a departure for me so we shall see how it turns out.

-Small trial comic
I'm going to be doing a very small comic in order to get a better feel for how I want the panels and the art style I'm most comfortable with using. The little trial comic is going to be based around Maple Story happenings because it is something that can be done quick and the shapes for everything seem really basic. I want the this little experiment to be something fun and easy so that I don't get super frustrated with something I'm meant to use as a learning experience. Also, this way I don't have to essentially think up an entire story and characters for something that I'm just using as practice for panels and such.

-Art inspires Art project
I'm going to start taking albums and doing some sort of art for every song on the album. The real reason behind this is to get myself to draw more and to attempt some sort of cohesion within a project. I once did this as a photography project with the Rufus Wainwright album "Poses" but the end result didn't feel so cohesive to me. I was doing this as an end of the year school project so it was a bit rushed to begin with but add to this the fact that I am in NO way a photographer and you begin to see why I'm a bit displeased with it.

So there you have it...three projects that I think will really help with some of the skills I so desperately lack. This should be fun.
